I recently met a Thea pronounced Tay-ah. Quite like it that way.

Sophia, very pretty and I think Thea is quite a fashionable and therefore faddy name at the moment and could date.

I prefer Sophie to Sophia (although there are a lot of both at the moment).

Thea I would assume was a short version of "Anthea" (which I quite like).
