I revcently met a little boy called Boaz - I really like it.

woolly76 · 20/01/2012 22:22

Ottilie is nice

ItsMyLastOne · 20/01/2012 22:44

Could Betsy be short for Bettina? Or is it Betina? Not sure.

I like Orrin and Phineas, and Etta and Ottilie.

FriggFRIGG · 20/01/2012 23:06

sorry not keen on the boys names but then i like good old english boys names.
Definately not Rudy.
I like Betsy for a girl

HypatiaTheProcrastinator · 20/01/2012 23:08

I love that name! I'd seriously consider it for my non-existant son. Wink

HypatiaTheProcrastinator · 20/01/2012 23:12

I meant Oisín, not Rudy. Unfortunately I know of someone called Rudy who I wouldn't like to associate with my child's name. What would Rudy be short for? Rudyard?

FriggFRIGG · 21/01/2012 00:38

Yes,rudyard.

I do love it,despite what others say,I think it's a good strong name.

I like old English names too....but I think my definition of old English is probably different to most....a lot of these names were most popular in the 1920's,including Rudy.

Phineas - & Ferb?

Artie - only if it's a nn
Rafe - no
Osin - Lovely!

Girls:
Betsy - maybe
Clara - no
Myrtle - no
Etta - gorgeous
Clementine - no
Esma - sounds too much like asthma

Mabel - my favourite
Ottilie - it's nice but it's becoming so trendy there will be a handful of Ottilies in her class
