What do you think of Amelie?

I am wondering if everyone will just laugh because they think I have taken it from the film, which I kinda have lol. I like it as a name. It doesn't sound a bit... pretentious? posh?

Also, any good middle names to go with. Our surname is Rutter. So Amelie _ Rutter. I have a daughter already, who is Faith Elizabeth. I do wonder if these names seem totally alien to each other.

My partner loves Amelie after I suggested it hehe... but I don't want to end up having everyone think we are nuts haha

I am a 43 year old Amelie, and the name has always been a bit of a burden. I have to spell it all the time, as everyone hears 'Emily'. What were my (non-French) parents thinking?
I must say that I'm happy with the name's new popularity, as I now feel a bit less of an oddity! So, I'm very much in favour of new baby Amelies.
