Rosa :)

HenriettaFarthingay · 17/01/2012 13:35

Rosa! No no...Seren! or Rosa? Hmmm......both lovely names. How about Seren Rosa or Seren Rose?

notso · 17/01/2012 13:38

I really like Seren but I do know quite a lot.
Haven't heard of a Rosa,it is pretty.

Are you having middle name/s perhaps they would clinch it?

HettyKett · 17/01/2012 13:44

Rosa

FaithHopeAndKevin · 17/01/2012 13:58

Rosa.

Unless you want lots of bat stuff from Abadas Grin

evamummy · 17/01/2012 16:55

Rosa or Serena for me (not keen on Seren).

JestersHat · 17/01/2012 20:07

Rosa or Serena.

BuntyPenfold · 17/01/2012 20:10

Rosa, lovely and classic

lou4791 · 17/01/2012 20:13

I love both. Perhaps like Rosa slightly more.

marshmallowpies · 17/01/2012 20:39

Seren Rosa - I think it sounds best that way round. Rosa is much more unusual than Rose which seems to be quite popular as a middle name these days.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 17/01/2012 20:43

I love Seren, it's DD middle name. It is increasing in popularity thanks to Seren the bat in Abadas. Apparently it was the most popular name in Swansea last year Grin

HuggyPomBear · 17/01/2012 22:16

I liked the idea of Seren if I had another DD (I have no plans, just like thinking of names!) and I wrote it down. Unless I wrote it in childlike print, it always looked like Seven. This put me off a bit! Rosa is lovely Smile. Rosa Seren sounds nice.

meditrina · 17/01/2012 22:18

I prefer Rosa.

Offspring · 18/01/2012 02:40

I love both, but if I absolutely HAD to pick, probably Rosa by the smallest of margins.

olefina · 18/01/2012 15:39

both are beautiful, I don't think you can go wrong - why not wait and see which suits her more when she arrives

TruthSweet · 18/01/2012 17:49

I have a Callia Seren who's 2 and I still love her name (it means beautiful star).

I'd go with Seren Rosa over Rosa Seren - it just seems to flow better (for me anyway!)

Cheeseandbiscuits · 18/01/2012 20:39

I love the name Callia

TruthSweet · 18/01/2012 21:10

Thank you C&B - It was a toss up between that and Calantha (beautiful flower) but this board steered me right (also dragged me away kicking and screaming from Mere - which in my pg hormone haze had decided was lovely!!)

Cheeseandbiscuits · 18/01/2012 21:14

I love it! It's so pretty. Our Dd has Seren as her middle name, she is Isobel Seren. She was going to be seren Isobel but dh preferred it this way round.

BikeRunSki · 18/01/2012 21:18

Seren by about 4 million miles.

mamalovesmojitos · 18/01/2012 21:21

Rosa

TruthSweet · 18/01/2012 21:23

Love Isobel Seren - nice meaning too - God's Promise is Beautiful (even though I'm A/A it's a lovely sentiment).

culturevulture · 18/01/2012 21:27

Really like them both, probably prefer Seren

I know a Rosa but no Serens

WellBlowMeDown · 18/01/2012 21:30

Love seren but Rosa is lovely too.

2wwmadness · 18/01/2012 21:36

Seren is such a chav name in the welsh town I'm from. It always makes me laugh when English people want to use it. That's just my association with the name. But,
Having said that, I honestly prefer Rosa. It's such
A beautiful name
