Charles [blank] Alexander/Llewellyn...

Please help me fill the blank!

I'm having a CS this week and DH and I can't agree on middle names.

DH likes boring traditional and solid names and is suggesting James. I think we need a 2 or 3 syllable second name to follow Charles (who will be Charlie day-to-day) and would prefer Stirling or Gabriel but DH has vetoed.

What do you think sounds good?

Rufus is nice :)

How about Henry, Oliver, Felix, Peter, Edward, Frederick, Elliot, Tristan, Matthew, Nicholas, William?

Stirling is an excellent m name (adds to list for theoretircal DS3)

Edward is what came to me immediately
DS is Henry Edward Charles

PS good luck with the CS!

I do love Stirling (means little star and excellent) - how could anyone not like it? Stupid DH.

I also love Felix and am going to try DH with Rufus again now and will report back.

DB is Edward so can't really use that (although I do like it) and I already have a Henry.

What do we think of Joshua?

DS is Rupert Arthur Stephen (Rupert sort of like Rufus) and he was very nearly Henry. So you could have Charles Rupert ..., Charles Stephen ..., etc.
We are also considering Alexander for this DC and have chosed the middle names Colin Edward.

DS Is Charles Matthew
