Lyssa - a name from the Greek myths (but a bit of a tricky meaning as she's associated with mad rages and frenzy).

Or Nerissa?

My daughter is Larissa (18mths) and still loving the name. Although, we call her Lara for short.... and only when she is up to mischief than I will call her Larissa!

We thought about Carissa as well, if we have twins, one will be Larissa and the other one will be Carissa.

Another name we consider is Siobhan (Irish, pronounced as Sio-von). Hope it helps Wink

I love Carys and Charis and agree they are much nicer than the frilly Carissa.

I have to say I don't hear 'solicitor' when I hear either Carissa or Karissa.

It's not a name, is it? Sounds made up.
