What do you think?

Or do you associate it with Stimpy?

Have to say, am totally and utterly stumped with girls names this time.

I think thats one of the most beautiful names I've heard.

I have no idea what or who Stimpy is.

ahhhhhpushit · 07/01/2012 15:21

There was a Ren in our antenatel group. Lovely. No one even raised an eyebrow.

Daughteroflilith · 07/01/2012 15:21

It's a lovely name. I don't think Ren and Stimpy have been on TV for a few years, so as she gets older it will matter less and less.

deemented · 07/01/2012 15:25

Oh, i'm glad people like it!

With or without the 'W' though?

Makes me think Wrench

countessbabycham · 07/01/2012 15:26

With the W.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/01/2012 15:27

I haven't got the foggiest what Stimpy means.

I really like it (with the W) but prefer it as a mn.

CaipirinhasAllRound · 07/01/2012 15:27

I like it. I think Wren with a W sounds like a complete name, without a W looks like it's short for something

BigusBumus · 07/01/2012 15:28

I LOVE Wren. So pretty and sweet.

HeyHoLetsGo · 07/01/2012 15:28

its lovely imo but getting more popular (tho still unusual) - i know two under 18m

deemented · 07/01/2012 15:29

I thought that too - without the 'W' it looks unfinished, somehow.

I think it may be on our possible list!

Stimpy - there was a kids programme on years ago called Ren and Stimpy.

LaTristesse · 07/01/2012 20:11

Beautiful. Do it. With the W

JestersHat · 08/01/2012 18:26

Wren (as in the bird) is nice. No idea what Stimpy is.

Ren with an "R" reminds me of Rennies.

ViviPru · 08/01/2012 18:43

My dog is called Ren. I wasn't sure when we rehomed her (she came with the name) but I completely love it now.

Wren is a perfect name for a girl. Good choice.

brandysoakedbitch · 08/01/2012 18:45

I know a Ren - she is Renella

Wren with the W is very lovely

smoggii · 08/01/2012 19:31

Stimpy flew straight into my head but kids her own age wont think that only people that were big into MTV in the early 90s

I don't understand the name Wren. Surely there are nicer names.

SilkStalkings · 08/01/2012 20:42

Lovely, have always liked this. Nice balance of nature-y witchcraft girlpower and pretty delicateness.

3boysgirlontheway · 08/01/2012 23:04

I love it, it was on our list!

Whatevertheweather · 08/01/2012 23:08

Ah Dee how strange its you Smile I NEVER come on baby names but saw the name and had to come and say what a beautiful name I think Wren is.

I met someone called it the other week and she was lovely and quirky and I've been thinking what a gorgeous name ever since. Definitely with the W.

pookamoo · 08/01/2012 23:10

I love it! It was top of my list for DD2 for a long time! If a DD3 ever comes along I might just have to use it! GO for it, with the W.

NorkyPies · 08/01/2012 23:15

I like it, but would she get Rennie (indigestion tablet) as a nickname? Perhaps it wouldn't matter.

becclestown · 09/01/2012 08:27

I love it: DD is Martha Wren, after a moment of clarity in the labour ward hearing the bird singing outside.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/01/2012 17:18

Martha Wren is just lovely - great name. :)
