Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
JestersHat · 05/01/2012 16:07

Yes, it's nice :)

lisaro · 05/01/2012 16:08

Noooo, it's one older name that hasn't aged well.

CotesduRhone · 05/01/2012 16:10

I really like it. But then I had no idea British people considered it old until I started meeting British people in the last few years, I'd only ever come across it in 'cool' American teen fiction. Grin

ceebie · 05/01/2012 16:44

Eric Pollard, anyone?

Kayana, Erica for your daughter then! You can explain to your DH that stranded will be disappointed otherwise....

VeronicaSpeedwell · 06/01/2012 17:36

I really like this name. DH won't sanction even the thought of it.

Have a friend called Erik and someone else I know has recently called his DS Erik. I think it's an awesome name. Also really like Erica/Erika for a girl.

CrotchFlakes · 06/01/2012 21:06

I used to work with an Eric who used to go on about a website dedicated to all things Eric, lists of famous Erics etc. Does it still exist?

SleepyFergus · 06/01/2012 21:07

My immediate thought was Eric Pollard. Sorry Grin

Ineedacleaneriamalazyslattern · 06/01/2012 21:18

Ds2 middle name is Eric. It was late fil middle name and I loved it when pregnant but dh wasn't keen he thought I was suffering from some hormonal fog and I would change my mind. Grin I did insist on it as a middle name though. He was wrong I still love it and in the end we had to pick a first name for him and I got my choice for that one too Grin

Crumblemum · 06/01/2012 22:45

We have an Eric. Wavered a bit when he was young and I had to say it in Sainsbury's. Some raised eyebrows. Now definitely love it. I think it's a great name, and yes, very popular in states, so they can always move!
