Hmm, quite nice but you'll get Mallory Towers comments from people who think they're being original.

3boysgirlontheway · 03/01/2012 13:31

I like it, it reminds me of Family Ties and I loved that show, and the character Mallory.

woolly76 · 03/01/2012 20:17

Love it then i do have a little girl called Mali pronounced rhymes like sally

lisaro · 03/01/2012 20:26

No, really don't like it.

flackjillpop · 03/01/2012 22:16

I like Mallory - Malorie looks very old while Mallory doesn't

PandaG · 03/01/2012 22:19

I prefer Malorie - reminds me of the author. Like the name :)

othersideofchannel · 03/01/2012 22:34

Malorie for me.

Reesie · 03/01/2012 23:16

Dd1 has a little friend called Mallory - she's a gorgeous girl

fredandginger · 04/01/2012 08:07

It means ill-fated or unlucky :(

Trills · 04/01/2012 08:30

First one.

Because of Towers, if I heard it I'd assume that was the spelling.

Kayzr · 04/01/2012 08:31

I love Mallory

SlinkingOutsideInSocks · 04/01/2012 08:47

Love Mallory - beautiful name. Feminine, timeless, and won't be one of zillions in her class.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 04/01/2012 08:50

Malory Towers only had one 'l' though. Malorie looks too much like calorie for me :)

EdithWeston · 04/01/2012 08:50

As a girls name, I'd think of it (and spell it) as Malorie (like the author).

But Mallory Towers would be the first association.

comedaygoday · 04/01/2012 09:49

Sorry, do not like it.

guinealady · 04/01/2012 10:53

It makes me think of Mickey and Mallory, the murderous duo from Natural Born Killers...not very nice people, and personally Juliette Lewis is one of those actresses who makes my teeth itch with irritation so anything that reminds me of her is a no-no!

Grandhighpoohba · 04/01/2012 11:25

Makes me think of Mallory from the West Wing - a great, strong positive character, so yes, with that spelling.

orangebox · 04/01/2012 20:33

i'm not that bothered about the meaning of it fredandginger not when I have a name that means pig.

LaFilleSurLePont · 04/01/2012 21:16

I love it,but I prefer the 'Malorie' spelling.

pranma · 04/01/2012 21:31

Why do I love Malorie but hate Valerie[my name]?

BuntyPenfold · 04/01/2012 21:35

I love Mallory.

poppydaisy · 05/01/2012 10:46

I like Malorie, nickname Mali.

wickedfairy · 07/01/2012 18:38

I know a female Mallory - lovely name!

Janoschi · 08/01/2012 17:18
