Love Adam and Matthew :)
Lawrence, Edward and Elliot are lovely.

Not keen on Colbert but don't think it's awful.

Edward I think. Rest are all too normal

Matthew - fine
Laurence - not keen. seems girly to me.
Thomas - fine
Edward - fine, wary of it due to Twilight's popularity
James - love
Nathaniel - love
Elliot - a surname. not keen.
Colbert - a surname. not keen.

Most are nice, what the hell is Colbert, though?

Strike off Colbert, Elliot and Adam (in that order). Not too keen on Laurence either, or Nathaniel.

James, Edward, Matthew and Thomas are best ones IMHO.

Think of what they'll get shortened to - by you and everyone else. Laurence is a tough one to shorten - I know one who gets called Loz (shudder).

A name has to grow up with them - Thomas/Tom - Edward/Ed - Matthew/Matt etc. But Elliot, Colbert, Adam all hard to change.

Reactions what I thought, Colbert is a family name from way back. Only on the list because I love the idea of calling him Bert (or Cole), so could go Albert or Robert?

As you can tell my OH likes traditional names - whereas I am in two minds - thought lawerence (Larry) and Nathaniel (Nate) where a somewhere inbetweeen....

Laurence - not a fan at all, sorry.
Thomas - dont like the shortened 'Tom' so a no for me
Edward - as above (dont like 'Ed')
James - as above (dont like 'Jim')
Nathaniel - LOVE!
Elliot - not for me, sorry
Colbert - NO!!

James or Elliot for me.
