Which do you prefer?

Alternative middle name suggestions also welcome. (DH vetoed my choice!)

Emily Florence.

Emily Frances.

I think Emily Florence has the "L" sounds too close together. But it might also be that I think Frances is a beautiful name.

Emily Frances

CecilyP · 30/12/2011 17:13

Emily Frances. Emily Alice is nice too.

HereKittyKitty · 30/12/2011 17:27

AnotherMincepie · 30/12/2011 18:16

Hard to choose - they're both lovely :)

banana87 · 30/12/2011 18:16

My DD is Emily Frances Smile

justabigdisco · 30/12/2011 18:17

Emily Frances is lovely.

MaggieAtwood · 30/12/2011 18:33

Emily Frances has a more timeless feel - Florence is a bit now imo.

My dd's mn is Frances so may be a bit biased but it is very lovely x

Fayrazzled · 30/12/2011 18:36

I prefer Frances too- more timeless. Lots of Florence about at the moment. My daughter has Frances as her middle name after my grandmother.

CountingDown321 · 30/12/2011 18:40

Ooh almost unanimous!

Thank you Smile

Emily Florence - dont like Frances at all.

LaFilleSurLePont · 31/12/2011 12:38

Emily Frances. It flows better too.

callmemrs · 01/01/2012 14:06

Emily Frances - it's beautiful (though baised here as dds middle name is Frances)

Florence is one of those names which has become very popular at the moment but will go out of fashion too, whereas Frances is timeless.

Emily Florence. Biased as my nan is Eileen Florence. She's in her late 70s so it is very 1930s :o
