We have all but decided on our shortlist of baby names for our first son but in a general conversation about baby names a friend of ours passed comment on how a couple of them could be turned into horrible nicknames, for example Ewan becoming Urine, which would be unfortunate as our surname is Byrnes (pronounced Burns). I had really fallen for this name but now Im having second thoughts. My husband thinks Im worrying about nothing. Honest opinions please please please!
