What do you think? I know there's the dora the explorer thing but that really doesn't bother me. You can think of associations with lots of names?! I have an Eliza and Florence already and think it would go well. Any thoughts?! Thanks

I think it's great, nn for Isadora maybe?

AwayinaKayzr · 22/12/2011 12:15

I really like Dora.

hester · 22/12/2011 12:28

I LOVE Dora. It was my first choice for dd1 but dp didn't like it, and I kind of lost my nerve because my wider family all pulled faces.

I wish I'd fought for it now - dd looks much more like a Dora than the name she finally got.

It could also be a nn for Theodora, giving you the option of Thea as well. Though i would have kept it as is.

LaFilleSurLePont · 22/12/2011 12:46

Love it.

Rhubarbgarden · 22/12/2011 16:01

Lovely.

Lovely name, goes very well with the others.

I love your other names, but, I cannot get the Explorer out of my mind when I hear Dora. That said she isn't the worst association a name could have.

CupOfGoodCheer · 22/12/2011 17:27

Lovely.

Dora the Explorer won't be on telly forever, and its a really pretty name.

posey · 22/12/2011 17:27

I love it!
Have to say that I didn't even think of Dora the Explorer but instead immediately thought of Dick and Dora, the main characters in the 1970s reading scheme used at my primary school Grin

cece · 22/12/2011 17:27

It does go well with your other names I agree. But (showing my age) I can't get past the Dick and Dora thing...

How about Dorothy? nn Dottie

hester · 22/12/2011 23:11

No no no, it has to be Dora! Have a heart, OP, do it for me!
