Middle name for Samuel (boy)

We've (finally) decided on Samuel (nn Sam) for a boy. We know it's not the most original choice but it really works for us and we both really like it! the problem is we just can't think of a middle name for it!
I like Samuel Evan but DH is not keen, our surname begins with F and is fairly short so i'd like to stay away names beginning with F if possible!

I think as Samuel has 3 syllables, a shorter middle name sounds better (imo)
