James Ralph Albert or James Albert Erskine?

Hi all,

I'm 40 + 4 (c'mon baby!) and we still haven't finally decided on our son's name. We both like Victorian sounding names but can't decide between James Ralph Albert or James Albert Erskine. Erskine is very much a latecomer to the party (thought of it over a hot curry the other night!) but just wondered what people think? Thanks!

Am thinking the second only because you could then nn him Jae. Only name that I don't like is Ralph. The rest are fab

Why can't you have James Ralph Albert Erskine? heh you could call him J Rae as a nick name!

James Albert Erskine or even James Albert Ralph. I think Albert flows better after James than Ralph does.

Thanks everyone! This has really helped us to decide. I wasn't sure about Erskine as we are not Scots at all (in fact, mix of Welsh/Yorkshire/Lancs) but I like that the meaning is 'from the high cliff' and we do love our coastal path walks! And I love that it's unusual. Right, just need a baby to put in an appearance now!
