Myself and dh are really not on the same page at all with regards to names, here are the only ones we more or less agree on

primrose
Elsa
mabel (this is the MIL's MIL name so she isnt keen on this)

Boys are trickier i adore Rupert and Ernest but dh has said no way,so these are the only 2

Rex
oscar

Any suggestions would be greatfully recieved Smile

Primrose and Mabel are horrid.

Elsa is very nice, even if it gives me an urge to sing Born Free.

Rex is lovely,as is Oscar.

AnotherMincepie · 17/12/2011 09:39

Elsa or Rex

Primrose and Rex.
Really dislike Oscar.
Mabel and Elsa are also lovely, I just prefer Primrose.

Bubbaloo · 17/12/2011 13:13

Love Rupert, Ernest and Oscar. Don't like Rex. Not fond of any of the dd list.

rachel234 · 17/12/2011 21:24

I like Rupert and Elsa - both are classic, lovely underused names.

manicinsomniac · 18/12/2011 02:14

I like Elsa and love Oscar.

Don't like any of the others.

I'm going to be really unhelpful and say that your girls names all make me think of cows whilst your boys names make me think respectively dog/cat.

hohohoshedittant · 18/12/2011 04:17

From the girls list I like Elsa best. Not keen on Mabel or Primrose.

For a boy, Rex is lovely if you're having a puppy, if it's a child then I'd go with Oscar.

Ihatepeas · 18/12/2011 16:12

Love love love Elsa.
Primrose is ok, especially with Rose/Rosie as a nn.
Not keen on Mabel. Sorry.

Oscar is nice but very popular here (central london) I know six little oscars under 5!!
Rex i like.. I think.
