Hi all - in the process of deciding boy's name - happened upon Mylo/Milo - anyone have any thoughts? Like the fact it can't be shortened and think it has a nice ring to it.

Also on the list:
Rufus
Barnaby
Theo
Finlay

Not sure if we're having a boy but getting a shortlist ready for both sexes :)

I like all of them apart from Barnaby.

Theo is particularly nice.

IndigoBell · 15/12/2011 17:30

No to Mylo.

Theo and Finlay are nice.

No to Mylo but Rufus and Barnaby are fab! Finlay ok prefer the Manx name ffinlo instead.

Mylo/Milo only works if you have a Jake, Bella and a Fizz to go with it Grin

I really like Barnaby and Theo from your list.

Milo is a malted drink down under, so makes me think of that.
Rufus - not sure
Barnaby - posh but like Barney
Theo - OK
Finlay - very very popular around this way - loads of them about...

Miles is quite a bit better.

Mylo/Milo is all malted chocolate drink to me, sorry

tammytoby · 16/12/2011 07:32

Love Barnaby.

nursenic · 16/12/2011 07:37

I love Myles.

tammytoby · 16/12/2011 07:55

Miles is the plural of Mile to my ears. Like naming your child Kilometres. Depends if you live in a country that uses Miles (like UK).

Thanks for the feedback all! Veering away from the name now!
