Cordelia

I really like Cordelia but our surname is REALLY long so want a shorter nickname to use (DD1 has a one syllable name and that works well).

I don't like Delia and have toyed with Coco but I'm not sure. Any other ideas or shall I go back to the shortlist for other names?

Della? Cora?

MaggieAtwood · 15/12/2011 15:18

Use Cora as a nn. I love Cordelia - a very sophisticated and elegant choice.

I LOVE Cora- hadn't thought of it but sadly I think it sounds too like DD1's name. Not sure about Della, don't love it, don't hate it.

Any others?

LynetteScavo · 15/12/2011 20:57

The Cordelia I know (age 6) is Cordi or maybe Cordy - writen it is always the full name.

Cory?

quirrelquarrel · 23/12/2011 19:03

Adore the name!

Lia, Llia, Celia, Korea (??)

I know you don't like Delia, but it reminds me of the Kate Bush song where she's singing about Delius...lovely!
