Max and Dexter?

Already have a Max, is Dexter too similar for DS2?

I know someone that has a Max and a Lexie.
Maybe if you shorten it to just Dex it may be a little too similar, but if you really like it, will it matter to you? And do you have any back-up names that you like almost as much?

Its more my DH choice and its the abbreivation that I'm worried about, so thanks for agreeing

Oh dear. I know how hard it is to find a name you both like let alone love. You both end up compromising.
I haven't heard Jude for ages, like it though. My favourite is probably Joe outta those.

I like Jude, Joe and Harry (personally would use these as nicknames though).

Jude is lovely. I've met a 3 year old Jude - very cute.

I agree Max and Dex are too similar. I like Max and Jude or Max and Dennis.

My husband is desperate to call our bump both of those names if this bump is blue. I'm not keen to be honest , I can't get the dexter serial killer link out of my head.

One of my good friends has two boys called Max and Dexter! Dexter gets shortened to Dex a lot. I think they sound great together :)

I love Jude but had to promise my best friend I would use it so she could have it for her baby
