OK, so I appreciate that this is really for two legged names, but I'm sure someone can help me! New puppy coming soon, golden cocker spaniel! Very, very cute! She is a little aloof, and clearly thinks she's better than your average puppy Wink So I'm looking for a good old fashioned name that has a cute nickname such as Victoria ( Tori) Suggestions please? Thanks

I know a lovely female dog similar to your description called Matilda - she really suits her name!

I was going to say Margaret too. I love "human" names for pets!

I have a gorgeous, spoilt and very aloof white boxer called Sasha! She was a rescue so already had her name but it really suits her.
My first (and rather random!) thought for your little bundle was Delia....told you it was random! Grin

Shame it's not a boy dog. You could have called him Daniel. Daniel the Spaniel.
