hi all
we are due in 6 wks and are having a surprise. I think we have narrowed girls names down to Abbie or Evie but boys names are so much harder. Our surname begins with T and goes with pretty much everything so pretty lucky in that respect.

names we have so far or the shortlist are
Samuel
Aiden
Charlie
Ryan
Dylan

what do you prefer (if any )??
we would like to narrow it down to 2 of each and then see what he/she looks like.

Samuel for me. I'm not a huge fan of the others but all ok. Probably Charlie second choice...I do prefer full names I.e. Charles nn. Charlie, but that's just me...

Good luck!

Dylan is lovely and hope all goes well for you

I love Samuel and Dylan. Aiden is okay. Charlie is nice but very popular, although that maybe does not bother you as you are considering Evie? Ryan is the only name I really don't like.

Love Samuel, but am biased. Like all the rest except Ryan, but would use full versions of names, also with the girl's names - Abigail, Eve/Evelyn/Eva.

Samuel - like
Aiden - like but with spelling Aidan (more traditional?)
Charlie - like as nickname for Charles
Ryan - OK
Dylan - like

Abigail - lovely, very pretty and classic
Evie - nice as a nickname, very popular though along with Eve/Eva/Ava

Ryan and Dylan I'd make down market assumptions about.
Eve's lovely, but quite common here.
Aidan is who DDs friend spells it, he's lovely so I'm biased on that one.

Sorry Evies lost her I

Samuel is my favourite, followed by Aidan or Charlie, then Dylan. But not Ryan; I think that RyanAir has given it "cheap" connotations.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 25/11/2011 22:54

Dylan or Samuel.

meditrina · 25/11/2011 22:57

I like Aidan best (prefer this spelling) followed by Samuel and Charles.
