My family are Methodists, and if I heard of a Wesley I would assume they were from a Methodist family too (John Wesley founded Methodism, and his brother Charles Wesley wrote lots of hymns e.g. Hark the Herald Angels Sing). I think it is a nice enough name, but just has a strong association for me (other than Wesley Crusher, who one of my friends used to lurrrrve when she was a teenager!).
