It's a family name but apparently my relative was an unpleasant character when young though I knew her as a lovely little old lady. What sort of person does it make you think of?

I have a Naomi. It means pleasant one and it's true. We joke about it being 'I moan' backwards - she doesn't. She's super.

I'm not keen - find it a "whiney" name...know a few but all in their 30's (all nice!) each to their own though as am sure you wouldn't like my names either so I'd go for it if you love it!

When I hear the name Naomi I think about Naomi Campbell and so phone throwing comes to mind.
