I like the fact it is an actual name and yet I can honour two people.

What do you think?

Lovely name. Does it exist in English, though? It does in Polish and I think I prefer the way it would be pronounced in that language, with double 'n'. Not sure about English pronounciation. Hmm. But very nice name all the same.

GrooveIsInTheFart · 06/11/2011 10:03

Love it. It's on my list for dd2

onlysmallsocks · 06/11/2011 10:05

well according to the net: PRONOUNCED: mer-ee-AN-É™ (English), mar-ee-AN-É™ (English), mahr-YAHN-nah (Polish)

I actually like either 3. So guess I would have to pick one.

Very pretty. I like it.

Rhubarbgarden · 06/11/2011 13:28

I like it but I prefer Marianne as I think 4 syllables is a little excessive.

Note2Self · 06/11/2011 19:47

Beautiful. If I had another DD I would use it.

BibiBelle · 06/11/2011 20:22

It's beautiful but also prefer Marianne

HighHeidYin · 06/11/2011 20:24

PattySimcox · 06/11/2011 20:24

V pretty but prefer Marianne.

kizzyboo5 · 06/11/2011 21:14

My friend's daughter is Marianna, but only ever really called Mari (pronounced 'marry'), which is very pretty.

NoHunIntended · 07/11/2011 00:12

Absolutely love it, one n for me though, as per the Gibson Brothers' disco hit.

Cortina · 08/11/2011 14:25

Of the moated grange...I like it.

comedaygoday · 08/11/2011 14:46

It's ok. Marianne is lovely though.

MamaLazarou · 08/11/2011 14:48
