Dh's suggestion. He likes Lionel.
I wanted something Biblical, but this has grown on me since he mentioned he liked it.
What do you think?

I don't like it - reminds me of Lionel Blair...would you shorten it to Leo? I do like Leo. If not, what would the nns be?

rubyslippers · 05/11/2011 07:36

Honestly?

Awful

Savonarola · 05/11/2011 07:38

Nice - better than Leo!

tummytickler · 05/11/2011 07:59

I don't like Leo at all, so no!
I don't mind Lionel Blair either!
It's by no means set in stone, I want him to think he will play an active part in naming dc 5 whilst slowly making him 'choose' my names!
Not terribly urgent as only ttc, he just brought it up last night!

What are your other DCs names? It might out you though if you tell us!

thousandDenier · 05/11/2011 08:10

I loved Lionel, but DH vetoed on the grounds that the Lionel he knows gets called Nelly Confused

tummytickler · 05/11/2011 08:11

It will out me, but I already gave them on the 'what are your dc called' thread!
I need a name change soon anyway as I have been under this name for about 5 or 6 years!
They are Iris, Elijah (Eli), Pearl and Amos. They are all at school, so not going to be calling them all at the playground together with a dc5!

Both Lionel and Leo are toy lion's names.

MummysLittleSunbeams · 05/11/2011 09:18

It's all 'Blair' to me. How about Linus - gorgeous name.

comedaygoday · 05/11/2011 09:49

Agree totally with MLS. Lionel for me is Blair, but think Linus is a great alternative. Love your other children's names btw.

Towndon · 05/11/2011 10:50

Lionel Ritchie - so quite nicely retro in a way!

Montsti · 05/11/2011 11:08

Forgot about him!

comedaygoday · 05/11/2011 11:41

There's Lionel Messi too.

Montsti · 05/11/2011 12:56

The best of the bunch so far but maybe in Argentina it's currently a popular name...I just think a little boy might get teased in the UK, but who am I to know perhaps it's about to have a revival!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 05/11/2011 22:23

I had a guinea pig called Lionel. I have met a couple of Spanish Lionels and quite like it.
I love Linus.
