your watching CBeebies with your eldest and you fall in love with the name muffin! (3rd and Bird) I know that DH will hate it and its not a name that will 'grow' with DC2 but l do like it alot. I also remember watching kids tv when l was younger and there was a character on there called Avataya (which l thought was the best name ever then) DH said no straight away when l mentioned it.

Does anyone else watch tv and think - l love that name even though its not realistic (ie ever so practical DH would hate it) to use it or is it just me?

YES and I'm not even pregnant again (yet, hopefully) so can't blame hormones!

I was reading about the new Twilight film and Bella and Edward have a baby girl called Renesmee (pronounced Ren-EZ-mae) and I was in love! Until DH said I had gone loopy!

I cried yesterday because i wanted to name my baby (im 20 weeks) Barnaby but my surname begins with B and it sounded ridiculous..... actually considered changing my surname, then realised that as I don't know what flavour Im having yet it might be a tad of an over reaction. So I cried instead. Ah its all fun and games in my house! :D

Ha ha I know what you mean! I always thought Muffin was cute too...You can always refer to DC2 as this as a kind of family nn...but I definitely wouldn't call them that!

My DD1 (now almost 5) said that my DD2 (now 2) should be called Peppa. I actually toyed with it for a while!

Haha - so glad its not just me then. We have no idea if we are expecting a girl or a boy and have no names picked for either yet, that we agree on, maybe l'm just getting to desperation stage at this rate we could have a milo, fizz, jake or Bella!!! (even a Justin )
