Rela, pronounced Ray-la?

Sorry not that keen - sounds a bit hard to me and I just think of a rail...if you like it though go for it? Is it a foreign name?

bottleofbeer · 23/10/2011 20:36

No idea, it was in a book I just read and couldn't decide of I liked it or hated it.

Hard to pronounce - my first thought was Ree-la, then Rel-la. Sorry...

RefereezaWanka · 23/10/2011 22:12

Hmm not great, sorry.

Fishpants · 23/10/2011 22:13

Also not a fan.

QueenVictoria42 · 23/10/2011 22:13

Really, Rela? Hmm not convinced. Pronunciation might be an issue, I would pronounce it as it looks re-la. If you like the sound of Ray-la then just spell it as it sounds.

ChippingInToThePumpkinLantern · 23/10/2011 22:14

I don't like it.

Apart from that it also sounds like something to do with a train.

It is one that you would have to continually correct people over (or have it said incorrectly)... so it depends if that would bother you.

SirHumphreyAppleby · 23/10/2011 22:16

I quite like Rae and Raine, but not Rela.

MelinaM · 23/10/2011 22:18

Awful I'm afraid!

Hw about Raina instead?
