Just wondering which you liked best out of

Angus
Hector (I know, it means bullying, but we're in a non-English speaking country if that makes a difference)
James
Tristan

Bethany
Dorothy
Matilda
Penelope

I also like the boys's names Rory, Patrick, Hamish and Heath and the girls' names Rosemary and Bronwen, but cannot use them for various reasons.

Middle names-

My favourite combos are Angus Heath and Matilda Blythe.

I have always loved Hector I like all your boys names do not care for any of the girls

Lots of names are vocabulary words - once it's a name, it's a name: after all who thinks of having got up for "rose", or scar for "mark" or a car lever for "jack"?

I think Angus, Hector and James are lovely (not so keen on Tristan), with James as MN for the first two and Rory for the third.

I think Penelope is the best for a girl, and also like Matilda. I'm not so keen on the MNs.

I like Hector James and Penelope Blythe. Lovely names.

Boys: I like James best, then Tristan and Angus joint second, then Hector last.

Would use Heath or James as a mn.

Girls: I like Bethany best, then Matilda and Penelope joint second, then Dorothy last (not a nasty name, but just quite middle aged sounding to me).

I love, love Blythe as a mn.

Angus by a long stretch... Don't like any of your girls names, sorry, but could be persuaded by Blythe...

Oh I like all of your names. Love Hector and Angus. Less keen on Bethany - and while I love Penelope it will become Penny. Which is fine as long as you like Penny.

Quite suprised that Angus is doing well. DH has deemed it 'cool' which is glowing praise indeed.

It looks like I need more suggestions for girls' names!

In order of preference:

Boys: Tristan, James, Angus, Hector.
Girls: Bethany, Penelope, Dorothy, Matilda
Middle names boys: James, Rory, Heath
Middle names girls: Summer, Aria, Blythe

Combinations:

Tristan James, Tristan Rory, James Tristan or Angus Heath for a boy
Bethany Summer, Bethany Aria, Penelope Summer or Penelope Aria for a girl

Boys - Angus James and James Heath
Girls - Penelope Blythe and Bethany Aria

Suggestions - Josephine and Susannah
