I like it. Would have been on short list for dd2 but ex boss was called Eric so it put me off a bit.

cakeismysaviour · 20/10/2011 01:44

Very nice. :)

ninedragons · 20/10/2011 01:46

I like it, and it's genuinely unusual.

mumofbumblebea · 20/10/2011 09:03

i have known a couple of erica's (one nice, one horrible, both a bit weird though tbh). i really don't like the name, sorry. i just don't think it's very feminine or pretty. but hey, life would be boring if we all liked the same thing.

tammytoby · 20/10/2011 12:57

Lovely underused classic!

tammytoby · 20/10/2011 12:57

Works beautifully in other languages (well, German, Spanish, French, Italian anyway Smile too.

Fixture · 20/10/2011 13:54

Quite pretty.

SaffronCake · 21/10/2011 19:16

I really liked it, until I realised it was the middle name of someone I loathe. So unfair when horrid people wreck a good name for you. Erica was/is a very good name otherwise.

AlmaMartyr · 21/10/2011 19:17

Pretty name, like it.

Marinn · 21/10/2011 19:22

Very nice, it's feminine but sounds capable and grown up. Not cutesy sounding like a lot of popular names right now.

MelinaM · 21/10/2011 19:40

I like it too, rather sophisticated I feel[hsmile]

DigOfTheStump · 21/10/2011 19:49

I totally love it, somehow it was not on my radar when I had DD, I wish I had though, as it is gorgeous.

DigOfTheStump · 21/10/2011 19:49

Oh, and if you have any Scottish roots, Erica is Latin for Heather.

prioneyes · 21/10/2011 19:51

I knew an Erika when I was at primary school and she was the funniest, coolest most fab girl ever. And she was gorgeous, and still is by the looks of her FB pics Grin

On that basis of course it's a good name.

thesurgeonsmate · 21/10/2011 19:58

It's a yes from me too. Agree that it is feminine but grown up.

oohlaalaa · 24/10/2011 14:22

I love this name. DH vetoed.

hiss42 · 24/10/2011 14:24

I love Erica!

JalanJalan · 24/10/2011 14:31

Nice name - and can't be shortened (bonus)

Rydwinhofficoffi · 24/10/2011 20:12
