Names for twins - help please!

Hi, we're having twins within the next 3 weeks and are stuck for names! We don't know what sex both of the babies are, despite trying to find out on 6 scans! We know one's a boy as we've seen a willy but on every scan we only ever see the one, so no idea what the other one is!

So, we need 2 boys names and 1 of each.

Here's what we've got so far (opinions - good and bad - welcome!):

Boys:

• Noah

• Evan

• Jacob

• Eli

Girls:

• India

• Elsie

• Edie

• Lucie

Oh, we've already got a little boy called Isaac. All of the names go with our surname. Looking forward to hearing some opinions, or ideas of new names! x

Congrats, having twins is lovely! I would avoid having DCs with the same initial - makes post confusing when they are older (and can sound a bit too "cutesy" imho) so that would rule out a few combinations. I like all your shortlist names though!

I wouldn't go with names beginning with the same letter, especially if they are both boys. So not Evan/Eli, and probably not Evan/Elsie etc either.

I think Jacob and Noah go well with Isaac.

Your boys names are a bit Old Testament for me, but lovely none the less.

The Evan and Elsie combo sounds like 'heaven help me' !
If you want to use Evan, it sounds nice with Lucie!

I absolutely love the name Edith so would say to go with Edie. Also like India, but I'm afraid I'm not keen on your boys names. Probably Jacob I would say is the best one
