too similar ?

following on from the eve or eva thread our these names too similar for cousins . we had chosen and we were happy with our choice but now in a panic. there is an 8 year age gap and my dn lives in australia so we rarely see her . surnames are also different .

the name we'd like to use is annabel nn belle my niece is isabella nn izzy.

i feel it probably is ok as to have sisters called annabel and isabella would not be particularly odd both names being stand alone names in their own right .
opinions and advice but be gentle please

I can't see any problem with that - different sounds and short forms Smile

i would say there is no problem, they are not that similar and they are not sisters

Our dd2 is Annabelle Charlotte when she was 13months old my bro and sil named their dd Isabelle Scarlet we do have different last names but live close together. dh and i never thought it was wrong of them to in with tho name they love
