Morning all,

What do you think of Torin for a boy? Am having another wobble about Leo.

Fab. Much nicer than Leo- who is a stuffed cuddly lion btw.

othersideofchannel · 30/09/2011 09:43

Lovely and not already used by thousand others. Great choice!

Meteorite · 30/09/2011 10:03

I like it.

lynlynnicebutdim · 30/09/2011 10:13

love it.

minipie · 30/09/2011 12:04

I like it, but never heard of it. Where does it come from?

You could also consider Tobin or Corin.

funnypeculiar · 30/09/2011 12:07

Like it - know one, unusual but easy to pronounce/spell etc. Better than Leo for me

SJisontheway · 30/09/2011 12:20

Never heard of it but I do like it. Unusual but not daft.

BlueChampagne · 30/09/2011 14:34

Wish I'd thought of it - it's great!

Northernrose · 30/09/2011 14:40

Love it...knew one but spelt Torren...Scottish name as far as I know! Lovely choice :)

MyMamaToldMe · 30/09/2011 14:41

Great name

StealthPolarBear · 30/09/2011 14:41

only heard it once before but I like it

ShoutyHamster · 30/09/2011 15:37

like like

IWishIWasAFrog · 30/09/2011 16:26

It's a gaelic name apparently, means 'chief'. I hear it a lot on the beeb (radio4 addict here Blush), the media corresspondent is called Torin Douglas. Haven't heard the name anywhere else.

Taught a Torin, brother of Iona.

DigOfTheStump · 30/09/2011 20:24

Love it.

DigOfTheStump · 30/09/2011 20:25

Oh, and much nicer than Leo,even though Leo is okay.

mediawhore · 09/10/2011 12:14

Love the name but the one I taught was the biggest wet blanket I had ever known!

TidyDancer · 09/10/2011 12:28

Not keen tbh. Leo seems much better.
