Any other ideas?

DH and I are compiling lists at the moment to see if we have ANY common ground for DC3.

We have Rufus Henry and Beatrice Rosalinde (nn Betty). Middle names are likely to be safe family names - Elizabeth or Kathryn, or Adam or Frederick, maybe William. Our surname is really common, single syllable.

So far, I like:
Finian
Gabriel (but maybe too popular)
Fergus

Tabitha
Persephone
Iona

I also like Inigo, Ezra and Blossom - but these have been completely vetoed already.

Any other ideas? I need inspiration!

Love Tabitha. Really like Gabriel though round here it has led to "Gay Boy" teasing at school according to my teacher SIL

I like your children's names! Good taste!

Fergus I think is the best of those you have suggested. Finian is overused and your other names are nice and original. Gabriel is lovely but I think Fergus fits better with your other names. And Fergus is a fabulous name!

Thanks for your suggestions! Some great ones - particularly like yours, MelinaM. I'm going to write some down so I don't forget.

Interesting that you say Finian is popular - I haven't come across it, and I'm a baby swimming teacher so I come across a lot of names. Lots of Finlays, but no Finians.

Tabitha is my favourite for a girl, and I'm starting to think Fergus might be the best boy's name.

How about Kit for a boy (can be short for Christopher or stand alone).

And Dilys for a girl.
