Tilly and Polly

I have a dd almost age 2 and another dd on the way. My dh and I both love the name Polly for dd2 but wonder whether it's too similar to dd1's nn of Tilly (Matilda). What do you think?

By the way, we rarely call dd1 Matilda - she is very much a Tilly.

I think it's too similar I'm afraid. V matching cutesy.

go for it. so cute

FetchezLaVache · 22/09/2011 07:55

I love both names individually and think they sound lovely together.

Meteorite · 22/09/2011 09:22

Too matchy, sorry.

How about Penny, Josephine (Josie), Ruby, Lucy?

rachel234 · 22/09/2011 10:55

Too cutesy for me, but if you love it, then go for it.

Bantria · 22/09/2011 11:39

I can't use josie or penny because they are close friends' names. Ruby is a no go because of our surname but Lucy is pretty. Will run it past dh!

Thanks everyone for your responses!
