Clara or Ada

Had DD3 on Saturday and she is still nameless. DH and I can't decide between Clara or Ada. Clara is his choice and Ada mine.

Middle names will be Emmeline Rose.

Help us decide please!

Unhelpfully I love both your names. Clara is probably a tad more popular if that bothers you? What are the sibling names?

My DD is Adelaide and is Ada for short. I am biased but obv. prefer Ada, I think it's a strong but feminine name.

I think Ada as a nn for a longer name like poster above would be a good option also.

Both really lovely names as are the mns. Clara is more popular I think and perhaps more classic while Ada is old-ladyish but still really pretty. Its a tough one. How would you pronounce Clara? would it rhyme with Sarah or Lara iyswim? What are your other DC names?

Thanks for all the comments. Clara would be pronouced to rhyme with Lara.

Other DC are Eliza, Henry and Annie.

Seeing your DCs names I feel Clara would go the best. Hard choice for you though! Also, I have yet to meet a Clara so fail to see how it is popular.

I think that Clara goes better with your other DCs names than Ada.
