And are you planning on telling the parents your views?

PandaG · 07/09/2011 22:52

and surely you know the name of one of the founders of MN?

GlaikitFizzog · 07/09/2011 22:53

Lovely name, the name of a strong woman, Wink

And if thats the name your neice gets then you just have to live with it. Keep opinions to yourself, or you may cause unwanted angst to the parents to be. It's their DD, they get to name her.

GlaikitFizzog · 07/09/2011 22:53

Niece, sorry!!

RedRubyBlue · 07/09/2011 22:53

My ex Sil was Justine.

FIL used to joke that she was called that because they got married 'Justine in time'.

How the hours flew by when he told that joke again and again and again.

Hmm

Like you I am not keen but hey ho. It is the parent's choice. Smile

Oh, yes Justine is a FABULOUS name! Wink

Friedtomatoes77 · 07/09/2011 23:09

No I didn't realise that actually, I don't really read up on 'MN Founders'. I don't think it's a bad name. Just maybe a bit outdated for a new baby. Like Christine, perhaps.. (am digging self into a hole here aren't I Blush] Ah Justine, you have created a lovely site...

Why do we need to toady up to Justine? She's not going to lose any sleep over members criticising her name.
