After all the nutty names threads there have been, am thinkin of good old solid traditional names.

Such as

Mary
Anne
Catherine

etc

Nice or too boring?

She will be the only one in the class.

I think Mary on a willowy brunette is very chic.

Catherine is a superful name.

And I have never been the only one in my class.

Love Anne and Catherine. Mary is nice but I like the other two better. My aunt (who is Mary :)) has Emily, Catherine (Kate), Jane, and Claire. I like 'em! She has a Joe and a Ben as well...

I love them. Mary and Anne are both on our lists at the moment, along with Jane, Judith and Susan.

Mary is lovely, I was at a christening of a Mary recently and everyone commented on how pretty it was. Its dd1s middle name, after both grannys

Mary is lovely and is on our list. Main problem we are having is finding a middle name thst wouldn't make her sound like a nun or an American cheerleader.

My aunt who is Mary is Mary Elaine...

I know a Mary Claire (DD2's friend) and knew a Mary Frances in school.

Mary is a lovely name imo. Some great names on this thread.

I like Mary and considered it for dd. Catherine is a wonderful name with multiple nn potential.
