sister for Isla

Hi there, I'm pregnant with baby no2. We have DD1, Isla Grace (chosen because we thought it was unusual! It was 3 yrs ago lol!) Anyway, have agreed on Samuel for a boy but stuck on girls. We have a few we both like but would appreciate opinions and suggestions. We want something that compliments DD'S name. SN begins with R. Not too bothered by popularity as names can take off so suddenly.

Zara
Emilia??

I think Anna or Zara go best. I really like Alice, but maybe sounds a bit too similar, as does Emilia.

Not so keen on Annabel, I think a shorter name complements Isla best.

From your list I would pick Alice. I personally think Isla and Emilia sound a bit too similar when said at speed but they are both gorgeous names so if that doesn't bother you then Amelia is a lovely choice. I like Amelie as well if that helps Wink

Annabel does not go with Isla imo because the only consonant in Isla is L and that is repeated in Annabel. Just doesn't work imo.

So anyway I suggest Maeve, Shona or Anya. Love Zara too. What about Zena?

We've got at Isla Ruby and a Freya Grace. Freya was very nearly Emilia, but thought I'd better go with DH's first choice name for dd2 as I had final say on dd1!!
Zara and Annabel were also on my names list so I think you've got great taste in names!!
