Loletta?

Or does it sound like a feminine hygiene product? I adore Lola and want it but it gets so many negatives on here, even though the association from what I can see wont last into her teen years.... I dont like Dolores and I would have picked Lois as a full name to garner Lola, but DB has given me a DN - Lewis.

Be brutal! x

It looks like you couldn't spell Lolita. So I would think you have dodgy taste in names and couldn't spell.

andthisisme · 25/08/2011 17:38

I don't like it, sorry. But I think Lola is fab and if you adore it and want it, have it Smile

Kirstle · 25/08/2011 17:38

Different names.

Lolita - Loh-lee-ta
Loletta - Loh-letta

I know they're different names. But yours looks made up. ANd it just doesn't sound nice. It looks like a typo of Loretta

MelinaM · 25/08/2011 17:40

I prefer LolitaSmile

LetThereBeRock · 25/08/2011 17:40

It's horrid. Very 'redneck'.

Popbiscuit · 25/08/2011 17:44

No. Please don't. It sounds like a truck-stop waitress. I'm sorry Sad You did say be brutal.

Kirstle · 25/08/2011 17:46

lol nah, I appreciate the honesty! :)

What about just Lola then, any fans??

SiamoFottuti · 25/08/2011 17:50

as in Loletta Holloway, disco legend? Or Loletta Lee?

ThePopsicleKat · 25/08/2011 18:44

Not keen on Loletta, sorry, sounds like a bizarre hybrid of Loretta and Lolita, neither of which are great. How about Layla?

kelly2000 · 25/08/2011 18:50

i really like loletta, and it can be shortened in different ways if she wants when she is older.

Littlefish · 25/08/2011 18:55

Sounds like a moist feminine wipe.

seeker · 25/08/2011 19:00

tampon or country singer. Sorry!

greenzebra · 26/08/2011 09:01

go with Lola its a great name.

hester · 26/08/2011 09:09

Lola is so far superior to Loletta that I can't believe you made the leap from one to the other. Loletta is just too c&w, sorry. Go with Lola, or Layla, Leila, Lauren, Louisa, Lila...

MrsHuxtable · 26/08/2011 09:12

Sounds like Lolita. Lola is nice though!

Kirstle · 26/08/2011 09:17

Popbiscuit · 26/08/2011 12:21

Kirstie--Lola is a great choice! I really admire your sensible approach. Best of luck X
