Fits my "unusual but pronouceable" rule, sounds cute, kwirky but strong to my ears... but do you hate it?!

Reminds me of Travis - which unfortunatly will be lost on DC generation, what a sad thought :(

I always thought the band were nice but a bit bland... still like the name! Would be people go round singing "why does it always raaain on meeee?" to him?!

If I taught him, I would sing it once, But then I'm odd (I'd probably sing Reoffender as well though)
Maybe we are showing our ages, don't really think they're a band that will found by a lot of DC now. So probably not.
There is also a Travis in Star Treck Enterprise
I think there is a rapper called Travis McCoy???

I like it even more now :)

I don't know any and think it is a lovely name. Makes a refreshing change from all the Alfie/Archie/Charlies these days. Great choice imo.

I've got a Travis he's 16weeks. My OH chose the name i didnt like it at first but was convinced i would have a girl so said if i had a boy he could call him Travis. When i mentioned it to my friends they weren't sure at first but now really like it. I now love it as unusual without being odd i find alot of older people like it aswell.
