Awful, reminds me of an American housewife for some reason (or Nancy Reagan). I don't like the cutey -ancy ending either.

Love it. It's my cat's name (named for Nancy Mitford - cat is definitely very U) and I'm kicking myself a bit for wasting the name in case we ever manage a dd.
