Hi mumsnet. Dh and i have totally fallen in love with the name maddison for our dd. We were struggling with a middle name but now have come up with Maddison Honey Thomson! Opinions please or any other middle name suggestions. Thanks.x

I love Honey and it's on my list. I'd just say go for it, very pretty name!

I think Madison should be spelt with one d.

I would spell it with one d too. It's a very American sounding name, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I know an 18 month old little Honey and she suits her name.

Don't like it at all. Very 'flower-child' and twee, fine for a pet, but not a person. I fear Madison Honey will find her name sounds very dated in a few years' time

Ithink a lot of names date there is not many ednas eileens or sheila that are babies.

I really like honey but your dd will most likely end up a maddie and maddie honey doesn't go so well together.

sorry, I just think it's silly. Would you call her Sugar? or Toffee? Not much difference IMHO
