Hi,

Following on from one of my previous posts about baby names... Our 2nd child is due soon and its another boy. Has anyone got any good name suggestions to go with our surname Billingsley..?
We mostly like traditional names, here are a couple we like so far..
Harry James and
Jacob/Jake William

Any thoughts on these names and any new suggestions would be great.

Thank you Confused

Christopher Billingsley or John Billingsley sound nice to me. I think I have heard them somewhere before and always liked the names together.

I have a Jacob. He rocks, its a fabulous name. Harry is good but very popular.

What about Michael?

I'd choose Henry James and use the nn Harry ..Danielle Lloyd (WAG) has just named her son Harry James!

Christopher is lovely nn KitSmile

Harry James sounds good. If you are going to use Jake then I wouldn't bother naming him Jacob as Jake is a name in it's own right.

PebblesAndWine · 29/07/2011 14:27

No, he is never Jake actually. He's definitely Jacob!

Robert
Nathan
Jack
Richard
Matthew

You have a lovely surname which sounds good with most christian names.

We have a Jacob, and I've alway loved it as his name. Everyone liked it when we told them and he's the only one in his school, although everyone knows how to spell it and say it, which is great for a young child. one thing that we didnt reckon on is it has been assumed a few times that we are Jewish, not that we care really!!

Robert Billingsley..?
Daniel Billingsley..?
Alexander Billingsley..?
Charles Billingsley..?
Matthew Billingsley..?
Jonathan Billingsley..? or John?
Simon Billingsley..?
Richard Billingsley..?
Edward Billingsley..?
Andrew Billingsley..?
Hugh Billingsley..?
Peter Billingsley..?
Alistair Billingsley..?
George Billingsley..?
Arther Billingsley..?
David Billingsley..?
Archie Billingsley..?
James Billingsley..?

To name a few...!! Smile

You clearly love William so I think you should use that as a middle name regardless of first!

No to Henry James - unless you want to be reminded of dullsville writer. Not fond of Harry.

Edward - nn can be Ned/Teddy/Ed etc
Laurence James
Christopher/Kit is good
Terence
Jeremy
Julian
Andrew
