What do you think? And would your preference be for Ana-STAR-sia or Ana-STAY-sia?

Anna-stay-siya.

I've never heard the other pronunciation.

Lovely name for an Easter baby.

InstantAtom · 27/07/2011 20:10

Very pretty name. I've only heard it pronounced Anna-STAY-zee-uh.

imnobody · 27/07/2011 20:14

Ana-STAR-sia but that's because it is the Greek way of pronouncing itSmile

BertieBasset · 27/07/2011 20:15

I like it although I wouldn't be brave enough to use it. would pronounce it Anna Stay sia.

LynetteScavo · 27/07/2011 20:53

Ana-STAY-sia.

DS2 would have been Anastasia if he'd been a girl.

TanyaBranning · 27/07/2011 22:19

I thought the Greek way was Anna-STASS-ee-ah?

Its a lovely name regardless

MelinaM · 29/07/2011 00:35

Lovely nameSmile

I have heard both pronunciations (and the AnaSTASSia one too) and love all. I love the Latin Anastatia too.
