What do you think? Or is it better as Farren?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Bad choice however you spell it.

downpipe · 21/07/2011 13:40

Farren too much like Darren.Go for Farron..or Faron?

ragged · 21/07/2011 13:48

How do you expect to say it? Does it have a meaning?

DELHI · 21/07/2011 14:30

Hmm Is it a boy's or a girl's name? Sounds like a made-up word to me. Isn't Faron Sutaria an estate agent?

PaperBank · 21/07/2011 14:47

Farren is an English name meaning "adventurous" and can be for a boy or a girl.

Personally not keen - too much like Darren, Sharon etc.

AlpinePony · 21/07/2011 15:50

Too much like a speech impediment. :(

Bandwithering · 21/07/2011 16:42

Rhubarbgarden · 21/07/2011 18:59

No.

pilates · 21/07/2011 20:24

Both don't sound good TBH.

MelinaM · 21/07/2011 20:25

Sounds made up, is it actually a name? I've heard of Farrah, but not Farron!

Nightstar · 21/07/2011 20:54

Ferran Adrià, the amazing michelin starred chef from El Bulli, right? Cool!

Littletonlady · 27/07/2011 14:03

Only if the surname is Heit!

LivinInATinyZoo · 28/07/2011 12:49

I like Faryn, was on our long shortlist!

Greenwing · 28/07/2011 20:32

Is this for a boy?
I know it from Faron Young the American singer and the song of that name by Prefab Sprout.

Quite like it for a boy - sounds American!

For a girl sounds made up for some reason and also sounds like Fallon - of 'The Colbys' and 'The Archers' fame!

mathanxiety · 29/07/2011 02:28

I have seen it on 'Oirish' baby name lists, the sort of list that says Kelsey is an Irish name...

ilovesprouts · 30/07/2011 13:51
