We already have 3yo Holly and am due with a boy in about 9 weeks, so far on the list we have:

Charlie
Alex
Billy
Joel
Jamie
Jack (i love this but it really is sooo popular)
Kelly (after a famous surfer but don't think i could persuade DP)

Surname begins with N so am trying to avoid names that end with 'en'.
Any ideas? Smile

Holly and Joel

I think Holly suits a one syllable sibling name.

Joel is really cool yet not common.

Alex or Joel.

WhipMeIndiana · 20/07/2011 19:47

Jolyon

Love the name Jack, so what if popular. The other names are nice except Kelly.

Also like Jared, Nathan and Max.

MelinaM · 20/07/2011 20:09

Alex and Charlie are lovelySmile

I've always found Joel rather an effeminate name for a boy.

PaperBank · 20/07/2011 20:14

If you were going to use full names I'd pick Charles (Charlie) and James (Jamie) as well as Alexander (Alex).

Just realised my one syllable thing for Joel might actually have been 2 Wink

DP not convinced by Joel Hmm

thanks for all the suggestions, have trawled more baby websites this morning and have come across:

Jesse (have never heard anyone under the age of 60 around here call someone a big Jesse as an insult, so would consider)
Blake
Isaac
