Both very silly names.

People like me will snigger

RitaMorgan · 20/07/2011 20:10

The last thread you started everyone said Maddox not Maddex.

Why bother asking? Just call your baby whatever you want.

MelinaM · 20/07/2011 20:11

It should be Maxston not Maxton. Maddox not Maddex.

I much prefer MaxstonSmile

Maddex reminds me of Windex-window cleaner I think.
Maddox/ex whatever, too common.

Noleen · 20/07/2011 22:12

Thanks for your help, sorry to take up so much of your time

so Catinthehat2, in one little message you have managed to say that I'm an idiot and pretty annoying. I think that you are getting personal and if you don't like what I say, don't read it.

It's not that you're taking up time, you're just ignoring what everyone is saying! Why ask if you aren't interested in the answers?

mumzy · 20/07/2011 22:43

OP call him whatever you fancy you can't make others like it but at least you know what the response from other people will be and can prepare yourself beforehand. Personally I couldn't give a damn what others thought

EightiesChick · 20/07/2011 22:48

I realy don't like either. Are there any other names you'd consider? Do you definitely want a name beginning with M?

seeker · 20/07/2011 22:55

Maddex sounds liek a laxative.

Maxton sounds like nothing om earth.

catinthehat2 · 20/07/2011 23:22

Well there you go.
All that trouble to get my message deleted, and you get the summary down permanently half an hour later.
Are you going to report yourself for calling yourself what you actually are now?
You truly are the poster that keeps on giving

maddex is a brilliant name by the way, everybody here thinks so really, despite what was said lastvtime, this time, and no doubt in the future as well.
Really, all the people on the inter webs think you should go ahead and use it.

At the end of the day, it's a personal choice really. People can give you advice but they can't choose for you. I just thought it would help to see other suggestions. Thanks Smile

Noleen - nobody as far as I can remember likes Maddex at all. That should tell you something. And the fact that you have asked (several times) must mean that other people's opinions are important to you on some level.

Maxton is also ridiculous and I doubt anyone will like that too. It's because they sounds completely made up and not at all like names.

Why can't you just call your baby Max?

chandellina · 21/07/2011 11:52

lots of names sound/look/are made up. I rather like Maxton or Maxston. Also had looked at the name Macsen for our son - Welsh heritage. Ended up with Maxwell - Max though. :)

djd101 · 21/07/2011 13:36

I think that you are all being rather horrible to Noleen, cant you all be a bit more PC and just say either you like it or you dont there is no need to be so rude to the woman. Imagine how you would all feel if you had these names for your child that you truely loved and people started absolutely pulling them to shreds. have a bit more compassion people!

stupefy · 21/07/2011 13:37

Either would be incredibly cruel.
