Hi

This is my first post, not even sure if I am preggers yet but if not this month then definitely next month right?!?!? Wink

GIRLS
My fav lady names are Hazel Fay (my mum's name and her favourite name)
GracieMae (my favourite name)
Elizabeth Joy (shortened to LibbyJoy)

BOYS
This is a little harder, I have a 14 yo DS already (age gap much!!) called Joshua John... I know I know but I loved that name since I was 14, its not my fault the rest of the world thought it was fabulous too.

So these are less set in stone...

Jacob James/Blake
Bailey James
Blake ?? not sure what goes with Blake but I love the name
So what do you think?

I don't like the boys-and I would keep well away from JJ.
I'm nt sure that Hazel and Fay go together. Prefer Grace and May.
Favourite is Elizabeth Joy

LOL well I already have one JJ so another won't be so bad - given there is going to be 15 years between them I don't think there will be a mix up with the post!

Hazel is a must, even if we go with GracieMae, she will have to have Hazel as a middle name despite it being very long winded (DH is not keen on Hazel Fay).

LibbyJoy is after my great Aunts...

Hazel is lovely and very underused at the moment. Not sold on any of the boys' names tbh.

I don't mind JJ-just a bit much to have 2 in the family-regardless of post.

Psammead · 15/07/2011 20:49

I love Hazel! I think Hazel Fay goes just fine together.

Jacob is nice. Blake is not to my taste. Bailey really isn't.

How about...

Heath
Elliot
Seth
Marcus
Joseph

effingwotnots · 15/07/2011 21:15

Blake is just fab!!

FannyAnnPam · 16/07/2011 10:51

Heath is lovely - good shout... Blake Heath, Jacob Heath; I think they sound fabulous! Grin

Love Elliot but knew one in childhood who was a little monkey so that's out. It is funny how the memory of a horrible person puts you off the name!!!

We had a horrid Gareth at our school and a horrid Marc... put me right off both those names.

Gracie is nice, as nickname for Grace. Mae also nice but would spell it May.

Elizabeth and Joy both nice, but personally I don't like Libby. I don't really like Hazel or Fay, sorry.

I'd change them round a bit... Elizabeth Grace, Elizabeth Joy, May Elizabeth, Grace Elizabeth, Joy Elizabeth.

Of your boys' names I like Jacob and James. Blake and Bailey are too surnamey for my taste. So Jacob James would be my choice (never mind about the JJs, if you like the names!)

Rhubarbgarden · 16/07/2011 21:23

I love Hazel, but not keen on any of the others, sorry.
