Myrtle is the street I spent my teenage years growing up on. Its not a pretty name and it was a butt ugly street. Plus there is the moaning myrtle link.

Sorrel is lovely.

My ma's second name is Myrtle so I can't hear it objectively, and she's always been teased about it - time for a revival, maybe.

JanMorrow · 13/07/2011 17:10

My lil biddy is called Juniper.. On our current girls list (which changes daily) for the new babies (pregnant with twins, not sure what sex yet) are -

Willa
Hebe (heebee)
Viola
Iris
Hermione

I'm not really a fan of Myrtle..

audley · 13/07/2011 18:28

Hmmm, that's it actually. Just out of interest, why not Juniper or Myrtle, or are they already on your list and you just want to add to it?

JanMorrow · 14/07/2011 18:40

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 15/07/2011 18:15

Tansy is a herb/flower, I think. I wanted it for DD2 but we ended up going with something else in the end.
