I like it, it was my BF name at primary, but people called her ferrity.

Not keen myself, my friends younger sister is named Verity and she is forever referred to as Ferrity, or Verit the Ferit!!! Not a nice name.

Love both and have them both on my (currently very short) shortlist for a girl. I think what makes them great is that they're unusual enough without being too "out there".

I do know a Verity who called her daughter Felicity. Weird how they are 2 different names that seem to go hand in hand!
